$25-million mid-rise project features 67 apartment-style condominiums

A historic Calgary district with a young population and burgeoning restaurant and shopping scene is getting a new $25-million midrise residential development. Sales have launched at the Matrix, a five-storey building that will contain 67 apartment-style condos in Mission.

Construction is expected to start in late November, with the potential for occupancies in June 2020.

The development is led by Harold Sicherman of Mission 19, who is no stranger to the neighbourhood.

“I believe I have done more development in the area than anyone else,” he says.

This includes, most recently, the District, a sold-out multi-family development that launched in 2013.
