The sales results so far showcase the ongoing trend of Vancouverite’s moving to Kelowna for a more affordable and idyllic lifestyle. According to a recent ‘Insight West’ report by Resonance Consultancy, more than 1 in 3 Metro Vancouver homeowners are planning to sell their homes and move to “more affordable markets” in the next five years.
“We continue to receive high levels of interest from previous Mission Group homeowners and local residents, who see this growing downtown community as the right fit for their primary residence. The urban location that Brooklyn provides has been the biggest attraction for future homeowners,” says Jessica Sorrell, Director of Sales and Customer Experience at Mission Group.
“Our buyers love the convenience and quality of life each home offers. In fact, several buyers initially interested in Brooklyn as an investment are now planning to move in at completion,” adds Sorrell.
Mission Group is seeing high demand in Brooklyn for all home types. “We wanted to offer a selection of home styles and sizes that could appeal to everyone, from first time buyers to downsizers,” says Sorrell. “At our Grand Opening, we will be offering a selection of one and two-bedroom homes and sub-penthouses at the same starting prices as our VIP registrant launch, based on availability.”
Located at 1471 St. Paul Street and part of a three-phase master development plan, the Brooklyn at Bernard Block community will be the first of three buildings overlooking downtown Kelowna’s stunning landscape.
Mission Group has made sure to deliver a wide selection of home sizes at achievable price points for those looking for condominium ownership and an urban lifestyle. Overall, Brooklyn offers competitive pricing starting in the mid $300,000’s for one bedroom suites with two bedrooms and a limited collection of sub-penthouses also available for purchase.
