ELLA to be the first concrete high-rise in the Bernard District in 30 years

Kelowna B.C. Mission Group, one of Kelowna’s premier builders, opened the doors of its presentation centre to the public today with a ribbon cutting ceremony signifying the start of public sales.

The public will now have the chance to visit the presentation centre where they can see firsthand what ELLA has to offer by touring the show home, previewing floor plans and designs, as well as taking in the views for every suite. They also have the opportunity to purchase a home.

The high-rise includes a boutique collection of 116 contemporary condominiums with studios starting from the low 200s, two-bedrooms start from the high 500s and the luxury two-bedroom with den corner homes start from the low 800s.

In attendance at the ribbon cutting was Randy Shier, president, Mission Group, Luke Turri, vice president development, Mission Group, JoAnne Adamson, vice president of sales and marketing, Mission Group Ryan Watters, representing the Downtown Kelowna Business Improvement Area Association and Heather Eichinger, representing the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce.

“We have received a lot of interest over ELLA,” says Randy Shier, president, Mission Group. “We’ve been finding that most of the buyers are local and are excited about living in the dynamic and engaging Bernard District.”

Following Grand Opening day, the presentation centre will be open daily (excluding Fridays) from noon-5pm.

The show home features beautifully designed, sleek modern interior décor, hand-selected finishes using the finest materials, spa-like master ensuites with semi-floating European-style vanities, soft-close hinges and drawers, quartz countertops, contemporary undermounted sinks and polished chrome single-lever faucets.

Its highly central location within the Bernard District gives ELLA a Walk Score® of 97 out of 100, putting it within walking distance of the new Kelowna Yacht Club and the recreational City Park, waterfront boardwalk and Okanagan Lake. The City’s Queensway Transit Exchange is also located within short walking distance, offering convenient transit options to the rest of Kelowna.

Bernard Avenue’s $13 million revitalization, has transformed the area into a vibrant destination with trend setting local cuisine, creative social houses, boutiques, culture and entertainment destinations. ELLA will add to this with the retail outlets it will provide at street level.

As the homes start on the sixth floor, every home will have a view, lake views from southwest to northwest and mountain and city views to the east. All decks are private and spacious and lake-front vistas are amplified through large windows.

Construction on the building itself is expected to begin in early 2018. For more information on ELLA register at http://liveatella.com/contact/#register or book an appointment at the sales centre by calling 778.215.6788 or emailing info@liveatella.com.
