Born and raised Kelowna man Luke Turri named new Mission Group Shareholder

KELOWNA B.C. – Mission Group’s latest shareholder is Luke Turri, Vice President of Development.

Turri joined Mission Group in April of 2012 as a Development Manager and gradually established himself as an important leader to the organization by demonstrating a team building style, and a sincere desire to contribute positively to the community.  Turri was also named Vice President of Development in January 2017.

Turri has demonstrated his desire to contribute by earning an MBA from IE Business School, a globally recognized graduate university in Madrid, Spain. In addition to being born and raised in Kelowna, Luke has specialized in local urban development for nearly 10 years.

“I’ve always had a passion for city development and planning, so I consider it a real privilege to work in this industry, for a progressive, community-minded organization, all while living in the city I was born-and-raised,” says Turri. “I look forward to continuing to help drive positive growth in Kelowna as a Mission Group shareholder.”

Turri looks for opportunities to increase the potential of those around him and the communities his organization builds.  His team leads the development of Mission Group communities, including the Brighton townhomes, Central Green, ELLA, Aqua, the U-District at UBCO, Siena and most recently, a block-long acquisition on the heart Bernard Avenue.

Turri has witnessed Kelowna’s expansion in recent years and believes it is one of the best places in the world to live. “This is a very special city.  Our industry has an important responsibility in being part of Kelowna’s future investment and growth – we can’t take this lightly.   With a customer-first approach, Mission Group has the opportunity to build great places for people to live and build memories.  I want to be proud of these communities for decades to come” says Turri.

Turri aims to stay involved in community development at all levels and currently serves as a board member to the Okanagan Chapter of the Urban Development Institute and Metro Community.

The shareholders and staff of Mission Group want to congratulate Turri on his achievements and wish him many productive years ahead.
