Former Canadian Olympian strikes gold bringing luxury to authentic Puerto Escondido, Mexico

PUERTO ESCONDIDO, OAXACA, MEXICO and CALGARY, AB – Vivo Resorts, a leading luxury resort in Puerto Escondido, Mexico announced the launch of Botanica a new concept in beach homes at the luxury resort. Botanica residences will offer lush, atrium-like garden courtyards featuring some of the largest pools at the resort. Inspired by Oaxaca’s verdant hills and mangrove forests, Botanica will offer buyers an opportunity to experience tropical oasis living.

Botanica also provides a lower point of entry to home ownership at Vivo Resorts, with prices starting at $219,900 USD for 1 bedroom 1 bath and $279,900 USD for 2 bedroom 2 bath residences. Vivo has also recently introduced a 5-year payment plan which makes Botanica even more accessible.

Vivo has also recently released the Nautico Residences. Following the success of its Marino Residence, the 9th and fastest selling building, Nautico is the sister tower featuring 28 oceanfront homes. Both buildings are the first at Vivo Resort to provide in-house finance options for buyers, giving them the opportunity to purchase over a five-year payment plan.

The initial release is 18 Botanica residences, at full build-out, Botanica homes will number over 230. Botanica, is the first building featuring tropical garden courtyards, the resort’s largest pools and Vivo’s only landscaped islands forming a centrepiece for the lush lifestyle condominiums. The unique architecture of the Botanica is inspired by the pristine beauty of Oaxaca’s Mangrove Forests and Verdant Hills.

“We’ve already had great interest from home buyers and are closing in on the 75% sold threshold needed to start construction,” said Cary Mullen, developer and founder of Vivo Resorts. “The word is out and as Puerto Escondido grows, so does Vivo Resorts.”

Vivo Resort recently broke ground on its eighth condo building, Lagunaanother beachfront infinity pool with swim-up bar, tennis and pickleball courts area and expects to start construction on the Marino Residences in May of this year. The decadence of the Nautico condominiums highlights the advanced architectural details seen throughout the resort. Owners will have a wider range of Oceanside experiences providing an uncompromised balance of tranquility, lifestyle enhancement and affordability.

Every suite at Nautico is oceanfront as the building is the sister tower to Marino and features panoramic ocean views from the infinity pool and stylish interiors. Nautico features one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three bedroom suites starting at US$312,900 for 1 bedroom 1 bath.

“Our new payment plan is specially designed for those who budget smartly, but want to enjoy a beachside home immediately,” explained Vivo Resort founder Carey Mullen. “Botanica and Nautico feature very attractive price points for new buyers, and the plan requires no application.”

Completed in December 2017, Vivo Resorts $7-million Clubhouse, is the centrepiece of the resort’s vast Oceanfront courtyard with over 53,000 square feet spread out over four floors. The Clubhouse features many luxurious amenities including a relaxing spa, an ocean view fitness facility, an upscale restaurant, sports bar, tennis courts and a large event space.

At full build out, the master planned community will include 114 private home sites, up to 600 condominiums and totals US$200 million. It has been designed with three generations in mind to offer something to couples, individuals and families at all stages of life.
