Spring Creek in Canmore is doing its part in the battle against greenhouse gas emissions by implementing a new geothermal heating and cooling system in its Creekstone Mountain Lodge and the Malcolm Hotel and Conference Centre.
The introduction of these geothermal systems in the two new projects will add to the estimated 450 tons already eliminated in the current Spring Creek lodges using geothermal heating and cooling, bringing the total to 600 tons annually.
