Tamarack one of a few developments to have tourist home permit use

The fourth residential building to launch in the past three years in Spring Creek in Canmore shows the resiliency of the recreational property market in Alberta, despite the slowing down with the oil and gas crisis the past five years.

The Tamarack – a four-storey building with 60 condominium units in total – is valued at more than $50 million and has units from 720 sq. ft. to 2,331 sq. ft. in both single-storey and two-storey formats with anywhere from one to three bedrooms.

The lodge has tourist home permitted use – one of the few developments that currently possess this designation through the Town of Canmore.
